Changelog

The latest updates, features, and refinements to the Symplax platform.

August 14–16, 2026

Safer database access and GitHub permissions

AUG

Managed databases are private by default now, and connecting GitHub no longer means handing over your whole account.

Security

  • Managed database ports now bind to loopback by default, closing a gap where they were silently reachable from the internet.

Databases

  • Optional public access toggle with a configurable auto expiry, including never.
  • Restrict public access to an allowlist of specific IPs.

GitHub

  • Connect through a GitHub App instead of broad OAuth, so you choose exactly which repositories Symplax can access.
  • Support for multiple GitHub App installations per account, personal and organizations.

Billing

  • Pay as you go with wallet based hourly billing, or pick a fixed monthly plan.

Reliability

  • Automatic provisioning retries and recovery if a server setup step fails.

Admin

  • Fleet visibility and per user wallet history for every provisioned server.

Pricing

  • Added a dedicated pricing page.

Symplax is live

JUL

Symplax is officially public. Connect a server, deploy from GitHub, and manage everything from one dashboard — for free.

Launch

  • Public launch — live payments, real infrastructure, no more waitlist.

Teams

  • Hardened team roles, permissions, and billing enforcement across every workspace.

Databases

  • Added ClickHouse support with full table management and native backup/restore.

Deploys

  • Smarter build failure diagnostics — clear, specific explanations instead of raw log dumps.

Billing, security, and reliability

JUN

Plan enforcement, account security, and the infrastructure to keep an eye on everything under the hood.

  • Plan limits enforced consistently across every tier, with grace-period handling for expired subscriptions.

Security

  • Email verification, security headers, and rate limiting on every auth route.

Admin

  • Live AWS cost tracking and a real-time system health dashboard.

Agents

  • Centralized agent management across every connected server.

A friendlier dashboard, backed by a rebuilt scheduling and backup system.

Cron

Backups

  • Redesigned backup management across servers, apps, and databases.

Databases

  • Added MySQL and MongoDB management support.

UI

  • Introduced Buddy, the in-dashboard assistant, across empty states and the AI chat widget.
